Daydreams

Introduction:

My objective when I write poetry is to express emotions, have a little fun, convey an image or maybe tell a small story.

The beauty of poetry is that is can be read in short bursts, gives immediate gratification, and leaves the reader with something to think about.

Poems should build an emotional bridge between the reader and writer.
 They shouldn't wear you out or leave you entangled in a forest of words.
But the message shouldn't be lazy either.  The words should have a little depth so that you can peel back a layer or two and see what is inside.

I hope you are able to cross the bridge and like what you find on the other side.
